The Ladies Auxiliary of the West Berlin
Fire Rescue holds monthly meetings at 7pm on the first Tuesday of
every month. We welcome any new members of the community who has a
desire to participate in community fundraising events, as well as,
support our volunteer Fire Fighters throughout the year.
Currently our membership consists of 14
women from within the West Berlin area. Our main objective is to raise
money to support local families, Senior Citizens and our own Fire
Fighters through various fundraising activities. One of our most
popular events is our Hoagie Sales, which have become well known
throughout Camden County.
As our membership has grown, so has our
ability to participate in many more activities. Along with our yearly
participation in Fire Prevention Week, Berlin Township Day, the Fourth
of July parade and Holiday Donations to Local Families, we’ve
donated savings bonds to a graduating 8th Grade boy and
girl; we’ve adopted a park and its upkeep and local Senior Citizens
who also need yard clean up. We are also there to support families
displaced by fire. In the past we have been able to provide money or
gift cards to help ease the burden suffered from fire within their
homes.
We currently are looking for new members.
